Albania and Germany have exchanged the instruments for the ratification of the agreements on the mutual protection of social contributions.
Albania’s Ambassador to Germany Artur Kuko has signed the relevant agreement which enables the recognition of pension contributions of about 20,000 Albanian nationals living and working in the Federal State.
The Agreement on mutual recognition of social contributions provides for the recognition of health insurance, maternity leave, accident insurance and occupational diseases, unemployment benefits, etc. for Albanian citizens who live and work in Germany and vice versa.
